Now that the stress of finding the most epic Halloween costume ever is behind us (you all crushed it by the way!) our attention turns to the gauntlet of holiday revelry ahead.
Between now and January 1st, many of us will promise ourselves to sip club soda all night, leave every party by ten at the latest, and be out the door for spin class before our alarms even go off. We can already hear our January 2nd selves LOLing about how that all turned out.
While navigating holiday merriment can be challenging for all of us, we wanted to give some special fa-la-la-love to our gluten-free friends. Whether it’s a lifestyle choice or a necessity to stay healthy, living gluten-free can sometimes cause some serious FOMO. Stuffing, pies, cake, cookies… need we go on?
Luckily, we have a few ideas on how to get through the season without feeling like you’re giving up everything that makes this the most wonderful time of the year.

Be ready with recommendations Whether it’s your holiday party-planning office manager or the friend who pulls your crew together to celebrate, make sure to offer restaurant or venue suggestions that you know knock gluten-free options out of the park. You’ll be able to relax and get into the spirit when you’re not worrying about flavorless versions of “normal” food or cross-contamination. You could even offer to taste their gluten-free canapés or desserts in advance! Mmmmm…
2. Wow ‘em with your low-key amazing creations If you’ve got a holiday potluck on the books, get thee to Pinterest ASAP, and see how creative you can get with your gluten-free cooking skills. Let the bores bring tired old pigs in a blanket while you crank it up with dishes like Avocado Spinach Artichoke Dip (yes, please) or Sweet Potato Pumpkin Fritters (double yes, please.) With a little research, you can find literally hundreds of yummy recipes that will have you drowning in compliments from party guests. Probably most of whom are gluten-eaters!
3. Treat yourself to ultimate “I can’t believe it’s gluten-free” treat
Desserts no longer have to be off the table at holiday time. With our vegan and gluten-free doughs on hand, you’ll always be able to indulge in a delicious meal-ender that you know won’t mess with your diet. From our Belgian chocolate chip-speckled Chip off the Ol’ Block to our sinfully swirled Peanut Butta Cup to our confetti sprinkled Birthday Bash, we know that our festive flavors will make your heart grow three sizes. Yep, just like that old softie the Grinch. 💖
